-Before you attend-
・You don’t need to bring anything. (If you have a calligraphy kit, please bring it to the class.)
・Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. (I will provide a apron for each person, but your clothes still might get dirty. Calligraphy ink stains will not come out cleanly.)

①10 Days Course (Beginner) / Capacity 5 People
Date: 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month / 11:00am – 12:30pm
Fee: $277
Start date: Anytime(As long as there is availability, please ask me!)
Description
This is the course for beginners. You will learn from the basics such as the history of calligraphy and how to use tools. Also, you will learn the stroke order and then practice words. (You will choose words from samples which I will provide.) On the last day, you will create a final piece on calligraphy paper. (see sample picture below. )

② 10 Days Course (Intermediate) / Capacity 5 People
Date: 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month / 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Fee: $332
Start date: Anytime ( As long as there is availability, please ask me!)
Description
This Intermediate course is similar to the beginner class, but you will learn more complicated characters than beginners. (You will choose words from the samples which I will provide.) On the last day, you will create a final piece on calligraphy board. (see sample picture below.)
I recommend this class for those who have experience doing Japanese calligraphy. If you have no experience, but would like to try this class. Your always welcome to try new things!

③ 1 Day Class(Beginner-Introductory) / Capacity 5 People
Date: 2nd or 4th Sunday / 2hours each class
Fee: $38

Description
In this class, you will learn the history of Japanese calligraphy and how to use calligraphy tools. At the end of the class, you will create a final piece on calligraphy paper. This class is suitable for kids as well.
Only “Hiragana” is used in this class.

In this class, you will learn the basic stroke skills (“Hane”, Harai”, Tome”), then you will create a final piece on calligraphy paper. This class is suitable for kids as well.
Easy Hiragana and Kanji(Kaisho: Basic style) are used in this class.

Date: 2nd or 4th Sunday / 2hours each class

Description
This course is suitable for those who have experience doing Japanese calligraphy. In this class, you will practice characters. Then you will create a final piece on calligraphy paper. (In this class, you will write down your name in Katakana.)

Description
This class is suitable for those who have experience and want to try more complicated Kanji. In this class you will learn complicated Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana. At the end of this class, you will create a final piece on calligraphy board. (In this class, you will write down your name in Katakana.)
Hiragana Katakana and complicated Kanji are used in this class.
⑧ 1 Day Class (Advanced-Beginner/Novice)/ Capacity 5 People
Date: 2nd or 4th Sunday / 2hours each class
Fee: $56 / $62 (Materials for a final piece will be Calligraphy board or Kakejiku. See picture below.)

Description
This class is suitable for those who would like to try “Gyosho”. You will learn the stroke to create this Gyosho style Kanji and you will create a final piece on calligraphy board. (Kakejiku (Hanging roll) is available if you would like to make final piece on it instead of calligraphy board. Fee will be different.) See sample picture below.
(Gyosho – Semi-cursive script which was created by Ou Gishi in the year 672 BC.)
Hiragana and Kanji(Gosho) are used in this class.


⑨ 1 Day Class (Advanced-Intermediate/Experienced)/ Capacity 5 People
Date: 2nd or 4th Sunday / 2hours each class
